Jordan, Chris and Warren are the host of the humor talk show called Horsetrack Hooligans. The three of them have a nice, entertaining chemistry that I really enjoy listening too.

The shows are about an hour or under and are really just the three of the host talking about whatever they want. I don’t even know if the topics are planned. I assume they are.

I can’t really think of more to say. It’s talk, it’s funny and you should give it a listen.

Imagine you had some sort of recording device next to you and you just spilled that idea into the recorder. The thing is, this recorder could only record for 3 minutes, 14 seconds. The ideas vary from day to day, so sometimes you do weird voices or sing, whatever it takes to express what was in your head. This is what I image when I hear the Natty Bumperpodcast.

Do I like the Natty Bumperpodcast? Yes I do. It is can be funny, quirky, or just insane from show to show. I listened to a dozen of these podcasts (like I said, they were under 4 minutes), and sometimes I laugh, other times I was just confused. That’s OK, since they are so short.

It is a comedy podcast, hosted by named Natty Bumpercar. Is that his real name? I assume not but you never know but that fits in the

The show is very family friendly. I find that refreshing. While some shows seem to be well thought out and well produced, other seems to be as if Natty just recorded himself for a few minutes and that was the show.

I don’t know what else to write about this strange little show but I think some words I got off the Natty Bumpercar website in which he describes himself as “big fan of making all kinds of stuff”.

Listen for yourself. It is only 3 minutes, 14 seconds!

The film reviews are my favorite part. Desmond and his friend Darryll, discuss a wide range of films. In the most recent podcast, they talk about on of my favorite cult films, Spider Baby. This is a wonderful horror/comedy classic staring Lon Chaney Jr. and Sid Haig and directed by Jack Hill.

If you are a horror fan, do yourself a favor and listen to Dread Media!

I have to admit that when I first listened to Cinemasochist I was a little put off. I can’t really remember which episode I listened to but it seemed to be a lot of giggle between the guys on this show, too much like a bunch of drunken frat boys than a talk show.

One more problem I had while I first listened to this was I had just review two other podcast with similar formats, We Hate Movies and Proudly Resents, and this one seemed to be the weakest of the three.

What Cinemasochists is a podcast a group of friends who watch older films that were commercial failures and review them to see if they were as bad as they remember, rate them and reflect to see if the film had any redeeming qualities. The hosts are Sean, Michael and Jacob and, for the most part they do a good job, both insightful and funny. Occasionally they bring guests who they allow to pick the film that week. Shows are usually done weekly, but not always, and are between 30 to 45 minutes.

There are times when it seems all cast members attempt to talk at once and many times one ends up trying to talk louder than the rest, resulting in heavy distortion. There is one member who seems to talk about sex and breasts a lot, funny at times, other times not. I think that a little more preparation might be helpful to the show, as I heard a few dead moments when it seemed no one had anything to say.

I have subscribed to this show and am in the process of listening to every episode. As I listen, I realize the show is getting better as they go on. I definitely recommend this podcast and give it a rating of 0. (You need to listen to the show to understand this rating).
